The creation of a vibrant enterprise base is a critical building block for the long-term success of the STI sector. This hinges on the presence of a healthy ecosystem of Large Enterprises, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and foreign strategic partners, which support and reinforce each other. Through coordination with the Department of Economic Development (DED) and Khalifa Fund amongst others, the following objectives will be served:
- Promoting and positioning Abu Dhabi as a Science, Technology and Innovation Hub
- Attracting and supporting foreign strategic partners
- Encouraging the creation and development of SMEs and the growth and expansion of national champions capable of competing on a global level
